Cu5 consists out of five friends who met eachother at the royal conservatory of Antwerp. Together we aim to make chamber music for brass more accessible to the public. We strive for high-quality performances and are ambitious both technically and musically, while making sure the "fun-factor" is never too far away.
The quintet was founded in September 2022 after which we started to work together very intensively to achieve high-quality performances. We participate in concerts and competitions in the BeNeLux and are always open for opportunities!
We provide music for basically every event you want: graduations, parties, marriages, funerals, etc...
The music we play can be very varied: from classical to jazzy, from old to modern, quiet to loud, ... We have several repertoires to choose from, or you can request your own pieces. We have an in-house arranger to adapt certain songs for brass quintet if these are not yet available, and we have plenty of contacts in many orchestras (Daan and Laurens even have jobs in the military bands!) to share ideas with.
